Although we do keep some items in stock in our warehouse, the majority is shipped directly from the manufacturer warehouses.
FOR ABUS BRAND PRODUCTS: Most in stock items will ship within 1 to 3 days from date of order. Requesting overnight shipping or 2nd day shipping does not necessarily mean that you will receive the product in that time frame. When the product is ready to ship, we will have it shipped by your chosen shipping method. You will be notified by email or phone if an item is backordered beyond one week from order date.
FOR MASTERLOCK BRAND PRODUCTS: These items take a MINIMUM of 1 week before shipping, however this may be longer. They can only be shipped by FedEx ground shipping. NO FASTER SHIPPING IS AVAILABLE. WE CANNOT change their guidelines. MasterLock
does not inform us about backordered items until at least 1 week after
order date. We will notify you of any delays as we are notified.
CANADIAN ORDERS: Add approximately 2 weeks to the above guidelines. Taxes and duties are the responsibility of the consumer.
OTHER INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: You will be emailed EFT information for a bank transfer. Credit cards are only accepted from the US and Canada. Taxes and duties are the responsibility of the consumer.
To purchase any of our padlocks, use our on-line purchase system or mail or fax your order to the address below.
PURCHASE ORDERS: 1st-in-Padlocks.com accepts all Educational/Government Institution Purchase Orders. We also accept corporate purchase orders from approved companies. To apply for credit, please fax your standard credit references to the fax number on the bottom of the page.
 OTHER PAYMENT TYPES: Orders can also be charged to your MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or prepaid by check or money order. Your credit card will be charged by 1st-in-Padlocks.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: All orders from outside the US or Canada must be pre-paid by electronic funds transfer in US funds. Please call or email for details.
RETURNS: To return an item, you must contact Customer Service at (603) 889-9887 or for prior approval and
obtain an RMA number.
RETURN POLICY:
30 day return policy on all non-defective padlocks.
RETURN RULES:
All returned merchandise must be unregistered, in complete original manufacturers
packaging, same condition as sold, with all accessories, literature, instructions,
and documentation.
- Defective items are covered under manufacturers warranty and will be replaced
at no charge within the manufacturers stated timeframe.
- Return freight is the sole responsibility of the consumer.
- Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable (including all refused and
unaccepted packages).
- Refunds on returned items which were paid for by credit card will only
be made by crediting the account charged for the purchase.
- Refunds on returned items which were paid for by wire transfer or check
will be made by check after a 10-day waiting period.
- For exchanges, your credit card will be charged for the new locks. We will
apply the credit after receiving the returned padlocks back.
If any of the above conditions are not met, 1st-in-Padlocks reserves
the right to refuse the return, or charge a 20% restocking fee.
Return Instructions:
- Obtain an RMA # by calling Customer Service at (603) 889-9887 or emailing
- Place the manufacturers box into a shipping carton.
- Please do not place stickers or shipping labels on the original manufacturers
package.
- For your protection, insure the package and ship via a traceable method.
We are not responsible for lost or damaged packages.
